Hi Rockstar5887,

It could be plug cables, fuel pressure, TPS, MAP sensor and many other possibilities. More info needed.

Does the engine stall during idling?

Is the idling smooth?

Is starting easy after stalling?

Hi Rockstar5887,

Will the engine stall if you try to rev it up or the engine stalls only if you try to drive off?

lxi = fuel injected ?

Is there any PGM-FI warning light on?

Lets try with checking the MAP sensor first. See if the vacumn hose is detached or connected incorrectly.

Hi Rockstar5887,

So if you let off the gas, it doesn't die off immediately?

Looks like the fuel supply needs checking. Maybe a clogged filter.

A faulty TPS is also possible.

The MAP should be connected with a hose at the throttle body and mounted near the firewall.
