My buddy bought this truck and he went overseas. Now I am stuck with this truck and I can't find the hazard light switch. I did some research and read that the switch should be on the steering column but don't see anything. It is quite dangerous when the truck is in trouble. Can anyone let me know how to find or how to freshly install one? Thank you.

Hello,

In the diagrams down below I have included the Original Equipment Manufacturer [OEM] part number for reference as well as the instructions for the removal and installation of the hazard warning switch[including a diagram of the location] for your vehicle for you. Please go through this guide and get back to us with how everything turns out. I hope that this helps.

Thanks,
Alex

Thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate it! Even before the breakfast, I got into the truck and looked for the switch. The hazard switch was broken off flat but I was able to manage stick a screw into the small hole in the middle. The switch worked fine as it should be. The truck is pretty much beat up everywhere and I decided not to replace the switch with a new one.

The location of the switch is just bad. Very easy to knock it down with driver's knee. So, even if I replace with a $18.00 new switch, I can't guarantee it will stay there forever.

I am so happy that it was such an easy fix for the truck. I can warn people now when driving!

*** The first picture shows the location of the Hazard switch, second picture shows how I stuck a screw in the hole, and the third picture shows the truck from outside.

Just like my father used to say, "never toss the cork." In order to save my fingernails I made custom Hazard switch. Thank you so much, again!
