Halogen to LED Low and High Beams?

As you may know where I'm already going with this, I'm getting a dipped bulb fault when I installed my LED lights. I believe this is just on the low beam because they will not come on at all. I also changed my high beams as well but they seem to work fine. So we're just dealing with the low beams. I understand that there is a difference in amp draw in the ECM thinks that the bulb is burned out. I've heard things about using resistors but I've also heard about them getting really hot. What is your take on this and how does that get wired up and how can I prevent it from burning anything up? What part of the assembly gets hot?

They make bulbs with the resistors built right in the help fool the BCM which I have heard people say they work really well. You can get them on amazon. Make sure you include with your search "with resistor" Here is how to change the bulbs out in case you need it. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.

Would that have anything to do with the high beam LEDs not switching over when the knob is in the auto position? The high beams only works in manual mode.

I believe so, the computer can do strange things when new electronics are introduced. The microcontroller inside the BCM can get confused about what to do. Here are the headlight wiring diagrams so you can see how the headlight system works. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
