2003 GMC Yukon enigne power reduced and check engine light.
Engine Performance problem
2003 GMC Yukon 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 184000 miles
my car will be going down the road and all of a sudden it the reduced engine power light come on . i have to pull over sit a minute and crank it back and it will go again. its now getting worse. it did it 4 times going to work this morning and that is about 20 miles from me. any suggestions.

First, I'd have the trouble codes checked. Some of the national brand autostores used to check codes for free.

That has to do with your throttle control. A perceived difference between the throttle blade angle and the actual angle. I'd try cleaning the throttle bore. There is a throttle position sensor under the throttle pedal, I can't tell you that sensor is faulty? I'd probably have to use a scanner on it, that shows live engine data.
