2001 GMC Yukon Turning left or right

The truck is a 2001 XL Denali. It runs pretty smooth at all speeds, but when it comes parking the truck or turning the wheels to the left or right. It does a gear-clicking-jumping-shaking sound from the front wheels. I don't if there's a drive shaft problem or transmission problem or axel problem. How can a troubleshoot the problem. Please advice. Thank you.

Sounds like you need cv joints or it could be and allignment problem, turn radius may be off so when you turn the wheel all the way it makes that power steering grumble, but I dont know if thats what your talking about

I have a 2004 yukon and my front end did samething I felt it in steering wheel it was my steering wheel shaft it was broke replaced sound went away take a look at it
