1996 GMC Yukon V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 177.33 miles

My head lights wont come on, I check the my fuses, my bubls. Every time the lights would not come on, would hit my high beam with multi switch and they would come back on. Some body said it could be the mutli switch. The brake lights and paking lights come. Please let me know.

Thank you for the donatin.

If activating the high beams would make the headlights come on, the contacts inside the multi switch is not contacting properly and that should be the reason why the lights are not working.

The taillights and parking lights are in a different circuit from the headlights and that circuit is not faulty.

Symptoms indicates the multi-switch is faulty and some test with a test lamp would be able to determine if the switch is faulty.
