1997 GMC Truck engine won't start
Engine Mechanical problem
1997 GMC Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 160,00 miles
truck will not start. The battery seems fine, had the alternator checked, the engine spins but will not fire. The plugs are a year old, the wires (unknown), fuel pump and coil is about 4 years old (Chevy dealer ), but no new work has been done. I suspect a fuel or firing problem. Any advise or what can i check?

first thing to do is to check for spark on all cylinders. shoudl be bright blue spark and they should all fire with the same speed and rhythm.
what do you find?
