i HAVE A 1993 GMC K1500 5.0, I HAVE CHANGED THE DISTRIBUTOR, THE FUEL FILTER AND AIRE CLEANER, AND IT WILL RUN OKAY FOR A FEW MILES THEN WHEN I SHUT IT OFF IT WILL NOT START AGAIN, COULD THIS BE MY FUEL PUMP?

Hi, with extended crank, have helper crank it, while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Around here, some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage, if you don't have one.
If your TBI, can you see the injector spray pattern, that doesn't mean the pressure is good, just that a rpm signal should be present. Any applicable trouble codes?
