My truck will start sometimes and run and drive great but the majority of times it will not start. It will turn over and click but wont start. I have replaced the starter, altanator, and battery which none have fixed the problem. I would like some help on trying to figure out what I could/should check to sovle the problem. Any clues?

Hello,

When you say it will turn over and click, are you say that it turns over fine until battery runs down then the clicking?

When was your last tune up? check the cap and rotor if terminals are corroded replace and see what happens.

Also check the battery ground at the block make sure it is clean and tight.

Post findings....

I put a new cap and rotor because they were croded and I pulled the engine block ground off and it was tight and clean. It will start if you jump it off, when you let it run for a while and then turn it off it will start back up great. But after I start it and turn it off a few times it will click and sometimes it will turn over if you hold the ignition to the start position. Seems like the battery is losing power, but I have cleaned the battery cables and starter and altanator terminals.
