Transmission problem
1985 GMC Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Manual
My 85 gmc 1/2 ton pickup will not let me put my manual transmission into gear when it is running. I have put a new master cylinder and slave cylinder and bleed the line with a vacuum pump as well as having someone pushing the clutch in and me cracking the bleeder. I have been told it could be the pilot bearing not letting the input shaft stop due to it grounding together. Do you have any ideas

Could be a alignment problem between the input shaft and the pilot bushing.I recommend you pull it out and check, something is binding between the two. Misalignment.
