While driving my 1993 Suburban 5.7l the engine sputtered a couple of times and then backfired thru the throttle body and stopped running. there is spark but it looks weak, and there is fuel pressure. it has not started since. Thanks in advance

welcome, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Can you see injector spray pattern, engine cranking? I've seen injector spray patterns that looked good to me, TBI system, but the pressure was 5 psi should have been around 10 psi. 5psi wasn't enough to run 5.7 l engine.

yes pressure is fine, also just to see if it would light off i sprayed staring fluid in and nothing. When i checked spark at the coil it seemed very weak. i am hoping for a coil failure and not having to replace the timing chain set.
thanks for your response
