2001 GMC Sonoma 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 175000 miles
I checked the fuel pressure om 01 Sonoma and as soon
as the fuel stops pumping for its 2 seconds the pressure drops to 0 very quickly. My question is weather its the fuel pump or the metering body?

Your going to have to do some testing to confirm that. It will take 2 people. One to operate the key and observe the gauge and the other is going to be under the truck to pinch off the supply line from the tank immediately when the pump is shut off to see if that changes anything. If it does, then the problem is the check valve in the fuel pump.
