I have to get my vehicle smogged, but it failed the NO test. It passed all the other test easily. I hadn't driven it very far before the test, but the smog test tech said since it passed everything else, the cat converter is probably already working. Is there any quick fix for this? I just want to get it passed this one last time.

Ok so let me ask a few questions here to try to help. Now when was it tuned up last? How old it the fuel filter? Has the oil been changed recently? Also put some seafoam in the gas tank. Get back to me and we will take it from there.

It hasn't received any changes to oil or fuel filter with the last 3000 miles, and probably longer for the fuel filter.
What is seafoam?

Ok I would change the fuel filter if it has been more the a year sense it has been changed. If the oil is dirty or looks dirty then change it. Seafoam is a fuel and oil additive that cleans injectors and the fuel system and works great. Let me know how it goes.
