My truck shakes a lot and I'm pretty sure I need an alignment. I just had my tires balanced so I'm pretty sure that's not it. It mostly shakes between 70 - 77, but sometimes it shakes a little bit at lower speeds not all the time. My shocks look pretty bad but here comes the really dumb question are my shocks and struts one unit on my gmc Sierra 2500?

You have shocks all the way around the truck. No sturts. You may have electronic ride control ones though. If you have a vibration it could be ujoints or a warped brake rotor as well. It could also be a front end problem but when you get it aligned they will check that first before alinging and notify you of any problems.
