My Passenger window has come lose from the mechanism than moves it up and down. How is the window attached to the mechanism? Glued. Bolted? And how big a job is it, I am not a mechanic but not a complete idiot either.

Is it crank or electric. I've only ever seen electric so I don't know about the crank windows. I believe (but not 100% sure) that there are little plastic brackets screwed to the window track and glued to your window. A big pain to replace, but not worth paying someone else to do it IMO.

I'd suggest pulling your door panel off to get a closer look to see what exactly broke, buy a replacement aand fix it. The biggest deal is getting your hands into the small spaces inside the door to work on it.
