I have a 1997 GMC Sierra 350 engine with 65,000 miles.

Yesterday it was 95+ degrees outside atleast. We started the truck, ran a few errands with the AC on and came home. Later that day I started the truck without the AC on. I went inside for atleast 10 minutes to get my kids ready. When I came back out the truck was off. The battery is fine. When you try to start the truck it sound like it is turning over but it does not start. It just rrrr, rrrr, rrrr until the battery starts to weaken. I waited until this morning when it was much cooler outside. It still will not start. Nothing appears broken under the hood and nothing is leaking.

What could it be?

Either the fuel pump went,
The ignition module went,
or the computer died.
Check for spark.
Dump a small amount of gas down the thottle body (small as in a soda cap or two) and see if it tries to start.
Check your fuses (specifically the ECM fuses).
