Transmission problem
1997 GMC Sierra V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 175k miles
When shifting from 1st to 2nd transmission starts to slip. My tach revs up and my speedometer drops to 0 even if im still rolling. ABS light comes on then trans will catch really hard(feels like you get hit in rear)and will go. It seems to sometimes be corrected when ignition is turned off and then back on. It doesnt do it all the time just on occasion. When not acting up tranny is strong, and I dont think its a mechanical problem, more along the lines of a sensor. Anyone else had this problem??? any input will help....
