A few days ago I went to start my pickup but all it did was crank. I puled a plug to check for spark, inspected the cap and rotor, and made sure my battery was at a full charge. It is still a no go. When I turn the key the engine cranks until it seems like it is just about to start then the engine pauses and starts cranking again. Am I right in guessing that my fuel pump, while stil pumping, is not hitting the required 56 PSI to operate the injectors and it is time to replace the pump?

I have the kit to test the line pressure but for some reason I cant see the schrader valve on the fuel line. I know it is on the fuel line near the back of the block but i must be blind because I cant find it.

It was a snapping blue spark. Last major tune up was about two months back. They did say that my fuel pump was getting very loud.

Edit: I checked the fuel line pressure and it is hitting 60 PSI so it is well within the range to start the engine. Could there be a problem with the Mass Airflow Sensor?
