2001 GMC Savana V8 Two Wheel Drive 179000 miles

I AM HAVING PROBLEMS FINDING OUT EXACTLY HOW MUCH CARGO WEIGHT I CAN CARRY. I HAVE A GMC SAVANA 2500 EXTENDED 5.7 LITER CARGO VAN I KNOW THIS IS NOT A REPAIR QUESTION, BUT I CALLES GMC AND WAS NOT CERTAIN THAT THE REP WAS SURE WHAT HE WAS SAYING

On the door pillar there will be a plate or sticker that says GVW- that means grossvehicle weight. That is wieght of the vehicle plus load. You might also have soemthing says tare or net wight on the same sticker which may be the weight of your truck. Or you cold get the truck weighed empty then go by gross weight and just subtract the truck weight from the gross weight and that would be what you could carry
