Electrical problem
1998 GMC Savana V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

the brake lights work with the running light off. but as soon as the running light are turn on only the third works. What is the problem/

I had only center brake light when running lights were on and after two hours of checking bulbs, sockets, wiring and grounds, I found my licence plate light was burned out. I replaced it and everything now works. I find it hard to believe that this little bulb was the problem, but it worked for me.
