Problem: When I apply the brakes for a normal stop, I can feel and hear a "crunching" sound thru the brake pedal and I lose braking power temporarily. If I take my foot off the pedal and reapply the brakes, they return to normal. This does not happen every time I apply the brakes. It seems to occur more often when I am turning into a parking spot. The rear brakes pads and rotors are new and the front brakes are at approx. 65%. When I had the brakes inspected, the repair facility said the brakes are OK.

Check the wheel bearings for any play, if the wheel wobbles a bit on hard turns, the ring gear, or reluctor is not aligned correctly during the turn! This causes the anti lock system a bit of a fit.
