1999 GMC Safari Heater core removal

Heater problem
1999 GMC Safari 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 143000 miles

I need instructions as to how to remove the heater core.

First of all thank you for your donation.Do you need instruction's for the main heater core or the auxiliary heater core?Let me know so i can get you the correct information.

Heater Core Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the air cleaner.
2. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
3. Remove the heater hoses.
4. Remove the screws that retain the cover to the heater assembly.
5. Remove the screws and the straps that retain the heater core to the heater assembly.
6. Remove the heater core from the vehicle.

There is the instruction's in the diagram number 2 and 3 are the heater hose's you need to remove.Doesn't look like you have to take the dash apart look's like you just have to take the heater box apart in the engine compartment.
