1999 GMC Safari fuel pump ecm
i have a 99 safari that i put afuel pump in 6 mos ago. 4 days ago it quit running at 70 mph. i thought it was the fuel pump again , but my mechanic said i blew the ecm. he put a new one in and it started and ran, then blew again. when the van died the fuel gauge pegged way above full. please help.

check your electical going to toyour fuel pump first it sounds like a short then check to your ecm

where do i start to look? could there be something wrong with the pump? i've put in 2 in 2 years. not good.
