1998 GMC Safari I have 2 noises I was hoping you could give

Noises problem
1998 GMC Safari 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 232000 miles

1st noise just started about a week ago It is a high pitched noise when the van is running. I have crawled around the van while it was running and it seems to be coming from the gas tank area. About a year ago I hade a new delco fuel pump installed. Is this a sign of bad things to come?

2nd- Every so often I have a popping noise in my right front. My steering is good no shkes or wobbles. Tires seem to wearing well I am just concerned.

Thanks for you help

You picked the brand I would have. Check the fuel pressure, If it is good then ride it out. IT may do that for years or another week. I doubt the whine will be a warranty reason.

Check your ball joints, frame mounts for play. Sway bar links and frent end steering shoul;d get checked for play.
