Engine Cooling problem
1988 GMC S15 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I just installed a lower radiator hose and can't get the engine end to stop leaking no matter how much the clamp is tightened. The hose is fully seated. No leaks from the other end or the upper hose. The hose is from Auto Zone. Is it just a cheap hose that can't get a good seal? Is there a better clamp than a hose clamp? Should I get a hose from the GMC dealer?

Thanks, Mark. I'll remove the hose and clean off the pipe.
