1999 Other GMC Models Replacement of outside door handle

I have a 1999 GMC Suburban. Can you tell me the easiest way to replace the outside door handle assembly for the driver's side, thanks.

take off the door pannel and remove the bolts for the handle then remove the ataching hardware and remove it.
