1997 Other GMC Models QUITS FOR NO REASON

Engine Performance problem
1997 Other GMC Models V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 99,000 miles

97 K1500 SUBURBAN, QUITS FOR NO REASON, ONLY TO START AGAIN. YES IV REPLACED FUEL PUMP AND FILTER, PLUGS COIL, CAP AND BUTTON. STILL DIES, I SEE THAT IM NOT THE ONLY PERSON THAT HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM, WHAT IS THE ANSWER, OH AND YES NO ENGIN CODES COME UP, FUEL PRESURE GOOD ALSO! NO WIRES RUBBING ANY WHERE, SAME PROBLEM OTHERS ARE HAVING AND DEALER HAS NO ANSWERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW CAN THAT BE IF IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. DOES ANYONE HAVE AN ANSWER????????????? PLEASE HELP.

I would try replacing the electrical part of the ignition switch. If the key is on the steering column, the switch is about halfway down the column,has a long skinny plug in harness to it. 2, 8mm or 5/16 screws hold it on.
