Models power steering but i have brake line r

Steering problem
1997 Other GMC Models V8 Two Wheel Drive

a brake line from the master cyln running to my power steering box appears to be leaking but i lose power steering fluid to

OK that's not a brake line, it's the brake hydraboost line run off your power steering pump, DO NOT MIX the two typres of fluid! Brake system will be destroyed! Just replace that hydraulic line to the booster and bleed it...turn the wheel all the way a few times while checking the fluid in the power steering pump. Do not keep wheel forced at the stop! Do not allow power steering pump to run dry!

so a boost line for the power steering does run through the brakes master cyln but the fluids dont mix ?

NO the line goes to the hydraboost, powered by your powerer steering pump, not your brakes...it is the powerer assist for your brakes, not your brakes.
