1986 Other GMC Models starts but dies
Engine Mechanical problem
1986 Other GMC Models V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 175673 miles
My car starts and runs fine, but as soon as I put into to drive it wants to die. But once I get it past 15 mph it runs fine. Doesn't matter if it has been running for 3 hours @ 60 mph, once I slow down to 0-15 it sputers and then sometimes dies.

Try disconnecting the TCC solenoid and see what happens-let me know
