In regards to my other question thanks for the diagram but here is another. I have a 2001 gmc jimmy 4x4 that I just recently got started due to me using some engine start that I had to spray in the carburater it started but failed to restart when I turned it off. Can any one tell me the problem or have a suggestion on what I shaould do? The way it will start is with the spray then it just tries.

Do you hear the fuel pump come On for 2secs-if not check fuse and fuel pump relay. The reason why its starting with the fluid is all it takes is 4lbs of oil pressure to close its switch and then transfer power to the fuel pump.

Yes I did try and listen for the fuel pump and you can hear it when turning the key but it still will not start unless I use the engine spray. It tries to start and almost will sometimes but stalls again. When I do it get it started it runs fine, accept for at idle it wobbles as if its going to cut off, sometimes it will. I have noticed one thing in the gas meter it does not measure the gas in the tank, the meter sometimes will not move unless I am traveling and then it rises I guess due to the pressure build up but drops when in park. Maybe ther is some pressure being lost somewhere?

Test the actual fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge designed for your fuel system and give me the readings.
