A few days ago my daughter drove the jimmy home from work. The next morning my son went to start it, but it would'nt fire. It turns over but there is no firing at all. So I pushed it into the garage and charged up the battery. the next thinking maybe there was moisture in the distributer cap, I again tried to start it but noting different happened. So I'm at a loss. There was nothing wrong up until the other morning. It ran great. But out of the clear blue sky it just won't start. Turns over fine, but won't fire.

If your saying it cranks good, but, won't start, can you check for codes?

If not, try some of the basic tests. Have a helper crank it, while you check for spark at the plugs. If you have spark everywhere, check fuel pressure. You need a gage for that.

Those spider fuel systems are known for problems, may be it will be something else?
