1998 4x4 jimmy 4.3 engine. For months would drive along and stall, wait a few minutes start back up on go on your way for few miles and do it again. Sometimes go for long distances without stalling. Then 3 weeks ago died and has not restarted since. Have replaced ign mod, crank sensor, tested coil. Still no spark. Have good fuel pressure? Could it be VCM or maybe a bad coil still. All terminals of coil read less than 1 ohm. No matter what I have done, coil does not produce spark. No trouble codes etc. Thanks

All terminals of coil read less than 1 ohm, what about the seconday resistances negative of coil to the coil tower, check also the distributor pick-up coil and the ignition control module.

Secondary tower to primary 5.5 ohms as prescribed. Read in mitchel that pickup in dist for cam is for injection timimg and refernce only! I have three ign mods and all three run in Gmc van. I have been there with this one. Can it be the VCM?
