Service Engine Light on. Throws mass air sensor, oxygen sensor, cam position sensor codes.

Became difficult to start and required pumping to get to start at high rpm. Afterwards, runs fine, although mileage may be down some.

Replaced a couple of oxy sensors, cam position sensor, and mass (used but working). Replaced fuel pressure regulator. Didn't notice any leakage from injectors, and there was pressure in the fuel line during dismantle. Fuel pump replaced about 1 year ago. Rattle in catalytic conv.

Service engine light remains on. Can be started by pumping or, turn key on for 3-4 seconds, then crank. Starts as expected with short high rpm that settles down to normal idle. Runs ok.

Why does it start ok (more or less) when started with the delay as described above? What should I check?

Any reason to suspect this is a clogged fuel filter? When the fuel pump went south, the truck wouldn't start at all. Had to be towed for repair. Since it can be started now, not sure why it would be a fuel pump problem.
