Is it 2wd or 4wd. Check the u joints and driveshaft for damage. The driveshaft may need to be balanced

I already checked u-joints drive shaft does not appear to be missing and balance weights. Tires are all balanced.

It is a 4wd.

I have not checked trans-mount.

The vibration is on acceleration. stops when I let off gas starts again when gas is applied.

are you sure it's not a misfire? a u-joint or drivetrain issue would not subside when you let off the gas.jeff

It Idles fine and has plenty of get up and go.

It acts similar to a tire being out of balance but subsided/stops foot off gas.

Trans-mount??

trans mount unlikely if anything i would be leaning towards backlash in one of the rears or transfer case. does the vehicle make any noise when putting it in gear? especially reverse it would be a clunking type noise. let me know.

I found a receipt previous owner

"vibration"
Test drove
Inspected U-joints okay Greased and installed
Removed dirt rims balanced rear tires.

At low speed 20-25 slight clunk when you let off gas.

I plan to put it up on stands Saturday to give it the once over.

Anything I can check or do to diagnose???????????????
