WHEN I TRY TO START MY JIMMY IT WONT START.I HAVE REPLACED THE CAP AND ROTOR BUTTON. IT HAS FIRE. IT WILL START WITHA BURST OF ETHER AND RUN FOR HOURS. BUT IT WONT START ON ITS OWN.I CHECKED THE FUEL PRESSURE WITH THE KEY ON(42 PSI) AND STARTING(32 PSI). THE VEHICLE HAS NO TROUBLE CODES. THIS ALL STARTED ABOUT 8 WEEKS AGO WHEN I PRESSURE WASHED IT. WILL THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH KEEP IT FROM STARTING?ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

When the key is turn to run position the fuel pump will run for 2secs to prime the system then stops- at cranking the oil pressure sending unit will power the fuel pump when the oil pressure is above 4 psi.
