I HAVE A 1987 GMC JIMMY I USE ONLY FOR PLOWING. ONE DAY THE REVERSE WENT OUT, DO YOU THINK IT'S A BAD SUN SHELL?

Most likely a reverse clutch pack fried plowing is hard on all trans and typically reverse will go out first. A general overhaul kit should repair the prob. Good luck billymac
