How do get the Neutral Safety Switch out?

I am trying to replace the neutral safety switch on my 1994 GMC, 3500 series Vandura van. I have the new switch, but how does the old one come off?

I don't feel confident of getting an answer, because after I posted, I see there is another question from a guy asking how to install a neutral safety switch, and with 32 views, he still didn;t get an answer, or even a response. Does anyone know the answer?

Might try a visit to your local public library--they should have chilton's and/or motor manuals there. If you're going to continue to do your own work, a model-specific manual will pay for itself in info.
