Oil Pressure Drops

My GMC Sierra 2500 with 172.000 miles very well mabtain after a whiele running the oil pressure drops when is on automatic drive and if I put it on park pressure reseme and light go off.
Change the sending sensor and problems persist! ! !
Use oils 10 40 most of the time and change every 3.000 miles.
runs great but this light comming on?

Take the OSU out and hook up an oil pressure gauge and comeback with the readings.

Possible problems: Engine bearings/weak pump/clogged pick up screen/oil return galleries

I have same problem what is the best thing to do How to exchange the oil pump? Is just drop of the oil pam or there more than this Please let me know also if is possible e-mail me gauchousa@hotmail. Com
have a gmc 2500 V8 3.7 with 172. Th miles
