I received from 1 previous owner (my dad) and has been kept pretty much stored most of it's life. Drove back from PA to Va and when stopped after 200+ miles it shifted from 1-2 really badly! Felt like the tranny was going to drop right out. Got home and drove around town for a week without incident. Drove to SC and around w/o problems. On the way back after about 300+miles - same problem anytime we stopped. Felt like the bottom was falling out between 1st-2nd. Drove to the shop the next day (check engine light came on) but no problems. Diagnostics said issues with tranny but it drove perfectly. Not sure what to think. Any ideas/help is appreciated. It's actually a K1500 - don't know if that makes much of a difference.
