I have a 96 gmc 1500 one day I was coming back from work when I looked at the dash and saw that all my light was on like I when u go to started up I pulled over and tryed to started it. It turned over but it didn't start up so I check the fuel I had that but when I check to see if I had fire I didn't. So I change the coil and that didn't do it I had 12 votes coming from the coil. I asked a friend and he said that it was the timing that jumped. So if u know anything about my truck please let me know thanks.

If a timing chain jumped, the distributor at number 1 won't line up when number 1 is brought up to TDC or the mark on the balancer. #1 on the distributor is about 11:30 on a clock with 12 beng front of vehicle. #1 cylinder is the firstone on the left bank.
