1996 GMC C1500 brake lights

1996 GMC C1500 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My brake lights are not working, but the reverse, the turn signals, running lights, and four ways work fine. The brake light at the top of the cab also works.

Could this be related to the brake switch?
and which colour wire works the brake lights?

I would start by checking the power out of brake switch use the diagram i posted.
