whitish exhaust smoke.....no signs of water in the oil...im trying to rule out head gastket....maybe emissions related?

You sure its not condensation? if not get it block and pressure tested this will find out why you're getting the whitish smoke.-To get this white smoke coolant has to be burning in the combustion chamber period.
Probable causes: headgasket/crack head or block
