Installed a 200 watt stereo in my geo and in the process of soldering speaker wires to the radio from the dash the car began to crank over itself. No keys in ignition but the battery was connected. Now if I connect the battery terminal the car starts turning over instantly without the key in the ignition. It wont stop turning over until you disconnect the battery terminal.I think its the starter relay but I realy dont know. How can I find out what my problem can be.

Sounds like you wired the stereo into the ign. System.

Stereos would need a constant 12V source (hot all the time), and a switched 12V source (hot when ign. Is on).

Remove the stereo and return wiring to original condition. Get a Factory manual or use the Repair manual link in the post to properly wire the stereo.
