I cant find the fuel filter?

I cant find the fuel filter to see if it needs changing. The car will start but either wont stay started or runs really ruff

Check under vehicle, driver side, below seating area, front of fuel tank, mounted on chassis in fuel line. Check the images below to see how to change it out.

On the firewall under your brake master cylinder. In 99, they started putting them in the gas tank.

Could be it if not clean out the idle air control valve and see what happens to include a check on the EGR valve
