1993 Geo Metro lights left on dead batt. got new one and st

1993 Geo Metro Automatic 97000 miles

i left my lights on all day ( about 11 hours) and obviosly did nothing when i tried to start it. went and bought new battery and when i put it in it still did nothing. i have no clue what to do.
