I went to AutoZone last night because my check engine light was on, and they did a reading and the code p0442 came back. It says there's a small leak detected. I tried looking up videos and diagrams, but I am confused on where it is located. Do I need to remove my left front tire to access it, or can I get it from the top with the hood open?

It is important to check the vacuum lines as well and also the gas cap sealing O ring. Here is the location of the valve so you can check it out which is under the intake manifold.

P0442 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected - Small Leak

I have seen the O rings for the feed line leak (loose) which can cause this code. I have located both EVAP control solenoids so you can check it out to see what's going on. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
