I got a the car listed above Royale front wheel drive. Fuel pump quit working so I changed it. You can hear the fuel pump kick on. Now I thought it might had a clogged line, so I replaced the fuel filter under the driver's door and blue the lines out with air pressure clean. Still no fuel at fuel rail, but you can hear the fuel pump turn on when you turn the key on going. Thinking it's the fuel pump relay. Where is that located? I can't find it under the hood.

Hey Bryan Baker,

I have attached the location of the fuel pump relay below, although if the pump is running and does't sound weak the relay may not be the issue.

The relay panel is under the right hand side of the dash.

If you want to replace it let us know if you get any change.

Did you listen with the old pump to see if it was running or did you replace it before?

Regards, Joe

Hey Bryan Baker,

I would advise that if the pump is heard to be running it should be pumping some fuel. If you remove the line in to the filter, get someone to turn the key on and see if you get anything coming out of this line. Be careful to catch the fuel that may come out of the line, you will want the person turning the key to switch it off if you are getting flow to avoid loosing too much fuel. If the pump is running and nothing is coming out you may have a restriction, either the intake to the pump or in the line from the pump to the filter.

How are you checking for fuel at the rail?

Regards, Joe
