Fuel filter clogs after a few thousand miles.

A few thousand miles after the fuel filter is replaced it turns black and restricts the flow of gas. However, the gas in the tank remains clear. Fuel lines are plastic

It's pretty obvious that something in the tank is contaminating the fuel. The tank will have to be removed and inspected and likely replaced.
