There was spark, knocking and started missing and it had been using water and oil. It did not smoke or leak. It ran good until then. I put 10,000 miles on since purchased not run hard. When it started missing I changed the plugs, wires and cap. It keeps fowling #8 plug as soon as I can put one in. I tried fowler that did not work either
what is the problem?

When you say it is using water, I assume you mean coolant. Check for white smoke from the exhaust as well as coolant mixing with the engine oil. If either of these things are found, then there is most likely a head gasket issue. If nothing is found, check compression in cylinder 8 and make sure you don't have a stuck injector. However, since it is using coolant, that leads me to believe there is a head gasket issue.
