WINDSTAR A/C PROBLEM

1998 windstar 3.8 gl automatic .A/C Stopped working,so i checked compressor to see if clutch is engaging- it is not , so i disconnect the clutch terminal wires,then i hook-up some jumper wires from battery to clutch terminal,the clutch engages and the compressor starts turns,the a/c is cold inside van and works properly now. what should i replace ? and where is it located ? please give full details. thank you

I understand that,but i beleive your original diagnose may have been correct coming from its source. i for one will help anyone with a problem with certain blein. i do think that forums are for this purpose,not to show a disciplinary actions.upon your arrival ,i dismiss you , as i do not need to attain your respond.thanks for the ruination of my post.sir,i just do not see fit to donate under these circumstance of lack of usable information.
